Annual Whisky Tasting 2026 | Edrington
On February 11th, the British-Swedish Chamber of Commerce and Edrington Sweden welcomed members to a special whisky-tasting event where we had the pleasure of exploring the flavours of the Highland Park collection. During the evening, Maximilian Warner, Brand Ambassador of Highland Park, spoke about the history of the unique whisky-making process on the Scottish island of Orkney, allowing guests to discover the distinct flavours created using sherry oak casks and heather — a hallmark of their single malt whiskies.
Throughout the evening, we had the privilege of trying four iconic Highland Park whiskies, including two limited editions, one of which had been made in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Björn Frantzén. We also learned about their newly released Cask Strength Heather Whisky which is a single-malt that has been crafted with 100% peat-smoked barley to offer the most vibrant expression of Orkney heathered peat. This whisky is a playful, aromatic twist on the signature Highland Park taste, bottled at cask strength.
