Executive Forum Roundtable
On March 31, the BSCC and Saab welcomed our Patron members to an Executive Forum Roundtable Discussion with guest of honour and speaker Nick Thomas-Symonds, The British Minister for EU Relations.
We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to Nick Thomas-Symonds for sharing his insights. We would also like to thank our Patron members for contributing to a great discussion and express our gratitude for your continuous support. Advisory Board Meeting
On 21 May, the BSCC hosted its Advisory Board Meeting where we had the pleasure of receiving an update from the UK by H.E. Samantha Job CMG, the British Ambassador to Sweden. Following these meetings, Kate Orrick MBE, Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy in Sweden, warmly welcomed members to the 71st Annual General Meeting at the British Ambassador’s Residence.

YPP Seminar 3: Strategies in Uncertain Times
The third seminar focused on strategic framework to navigate rapid change.
Our host, Scott Butterworth, Husqvarna, started the evening by introducing Husqvarna’s strategic framework in the industrial sector. Our speakers, Patrick W. Pearsall, Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and Ian Richardson, Executive Education at Stockholm University then shared insights on how organisations and individuals can adapt to the challenges of a rapidly changing global environment.
We extend our sincerest gratitude to our speakers for generously sharing their expertise, as well as Husqvarna, Scott Butterworth and team for hosting us.
A special acknowledgment is also due to the Young Patrons’ whose engaging discussions contributed to the success of the evening. We look forward to reconvening for our last session of the year for further discussions.

YPP Seminar 4: Global Business & Sustainability
The fourth seminar focused on Global Business & Sustainability and was held in collaboration with Ethos.
We were welcomed by Amanda Hagberg, Senior Sustainability Advisor at Ethos and the session started with a keynote from Annika Ramsköld, Chief Sustainability Officer at Vattenfall.
Annika shared how Vattenfall has integrated sustainability as a strategic driver rooted in responsibility for future generations. She highlighted the importance of balancing economic, social, and environmental priorities, and spoke to the growing recognition that sustainability is now central to long-term competitiveness.
The session concluded with a Q&A exploring transparency, partnership choices, and how organisations can stay resilient as expectations and global conditions continue to shift.

A special acknowledgment to our Young Patrons for their thoughtful engagement. We now look forward to welcoming a few of our Young Patrons to the YPP London Delegation later this month.

Annual Patrons Dinner
On 20 November, we had the pleasure of welcoming our Patron Members to the Annual Patrons’ Dinner, in the presence of H.E. Samantha Job CMG MVO, British Ambassador to Sweden, hosted by Vinge.
This year’s theme, “The future of connectivity, mobility, space and security” featured keynotes from Mikael Bäck, Senior Vice President at Ericsson and Linda Lyckman, Senior Vice President and Head of US Growth at the Swedish Space Corporation.

YPP: Swedish British Summit 2025 in London
During the last week of November, members of the BSCC Young Patrons Programme had the privilege of attending the British Swedish Summit 2025 in London.
This summit offered a thought-provoking and contemporary exploration of leadership, bringing together an inspiring assembly of business leaders, entrepreneurs, politicians, and academics from both Sweden and the UK.

Advisory Board Meeting
On December 4, the BSCC together with H.E. Ms. Samantha Job CMG MVO, UK Ambassador to Sweden, welcomed patron members to the Advisory Board Meeting, before the BSCC Annual Christmas Drinks Reception and Award Ceremony hosted at the Ambassador’s residence. It was a pleasure to see so many of you as we wrapped up another impactful year for the Chamber. We extend our sincerest thank you to all members for their contribution and support throughout the year.
