Scandinavian Trust is a leading Nordic corporate services firm supporting international companies operating in Sweden and across the Nordic region. Founded in 2014, the company provides integrated solutions in corporate management, legal entity administration, accounting, payroll, and compliance. Today, Scandinavian Trust works with a wide range of international clients, helping businesses establish, manage, and scale their Nordic operations with confidence, transparency, and local expertise.

What trends do you see within your line of business?

In our role at Scandinavian Trust, working with international companies looking to establish themselves in Sweden and the Nordic region, we see a continued strong interest for this market. The Nordics are viewed as stable, highly digitalized, and innovation-driven, which makes the region attractive for long-term investment.

A particularly strong trend right now is the growing number of data center operators exploring or moving forward with Nordic expansions. They are drawn here by the region’s reliable electricity grid, access to renewable energy, favorable climate for cooling, and overall political stability—factors that make Sweden especially competitive in this sector.

From your perspective, what are the greatest challenges right now?

From our perspective, one of the biggest challenges is the complexity and pace of change in regulations, especially around labour law, tax, and compliance. For many of the international companies I meet, the Nordic model is quite different from what they are used to, and it can feel like a lot to navigate at once when they are entering Sweden.

And, opportunities?

At the same time, these challenges create strong opportunities for us. Because the Nordics are attractive but complex to enter, there is a real need for a partner who understands both the local rules and the expectations of international businesses. That’s exactly where we can add value: by being a trusted guide through the set-up phase and then a long-term partner for compliance and local advice. As interest in the Nordic markets continues to grow, there is a lot of potential to deepen relationships with clients and support them throughout their entire journey here.
