Mission and offer Our mission is to create and nurture an environment where influential contacts can be made and strengthened. In addition we provide a wide range of services to member companies on both sides of the North Sea. These services are designed to help companies make more effective use of the time and marketing investment, and to keep existing and prospective members up to date on current business issues by means of seminars, lunches and conferences.
We offer
- a forum to meet potential clients and associates face to face
- valuable legal, financial and commercial advice through our vast network of members
- valuable contact with British, Swedish and international companies
- an opportunity for larger, more established companies to offer their knowledge and expertise to smaller companies and the opportunity for smaller companies to take advantage of this
- introduction to possible distributors, trading partners and manufacturers
- good co-operation with other organisations both in Sweden and the UK, including the British Embassy in Stockholm, the Swedish Embassy in London, the British Council, UK Trade & Investment, Department of Trade, the Swedish-British Society, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in the UK, other European Chambers of Commerce, Trade International Northern Ireland and organisations and institutions that can be of use to us, and thus to our members

Who is a member? The British-Swedish Chamber of Commerce has approximately 130 members, both Swedish and British companies as well as subsidiaries, of different sizes and in different fields, the majority being involved in international trade.
Why become a member? Being a business man or woman is hard work and much of one's success is due to the network that one can claim to belong to. Being a member of the Chamber is definitely a networking opportunity. It will render your name and your company a certain air of weight of tradition and importance in co-operation with others. Apart from that there is a long list of services and contacts that you, as a member, can make use of; awareness of cultural differences and to have your own and your staff's bank of knowledge growing. A membership in the British-Swedish Chamber of Commerce strengthens relations between business contacts on both sides of the North Sea and creates new ones.
